Description

A bold, early-harvest unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) made in small batches from our finca in the Sierra de Cádiz, Andalucía. A separate micro-plot. A sharper harvest window. A bolder oil. This release, totaling roughly only 140 liters (560 bottles) total, is packaged in 250 ml and individually numbered. With a deeper green profile and a more assertive polyphenol punch, it functions almost like a vintage wine: intense, concentrated, unmistakably Andalusian.

All olives are hand-picked in October 2025, cold-pressed at a local mill to ensure extra freshness, and crafted for high polyphenols and an intense rich aroma. This limited edition 250ml brings Scandalusia’s signature character, unapologetically strong, fresh and deeply green. It's composed of a mixture based on Picual (Marteña) olives with hints of Arbequina and Gordal Sevillanas to create a structured EVOO with an almost sweet, floral roundness and a soft Andalusian character from the Gordal olives.

Only a few hundred bottles exist. When they are gone, the next harvest will tell a different story.

From Our Estate to Your Table

Produced exclusively at our family-owned estate, Las Tejoneras, in the hills of Cádiz, this premium Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil reflects the character of Andalusia and the discipline behind every stage of production.

Our olives are harvested early, at their optimal moment of ripeness, to preserve freshness, intensity, and naturally high levels of polyphenols. Shortly after harvesting, they are transported directly to the mill and cold extracted within hours, helping protect the oil's delicate aromas, structure, and nutritional properties.

The result is a single-estate extra virgin olive oil with low acidity, remarkable balance, and a smooth yet expressive profile characteristic of the Arbequina variety.

Every batch is produced with meticulous attention to quality, from grove to bottle, ensuring an authentic olive oil that captures the essence of our land and our commitment to excellence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Scandalusia olive oil produced? +

Scandalusia is produced exclusively at our family-owned estate, Las Tejoneras, in the hills of Cádiz, Spain. Every olive is grown, harvested, and processed on the estate, ensuring full control over quality from grove to bottle.

What does “first press” mean? +

It refers to the first mechanical extraction of the olives. This is when the oil retains its freshest aromas, most delicate flavours, and naturally occurring compounds at their highest quality.

Why is the oil packaged in a tin? +

Olive oil is sensitive to light, air, and heat. Our tin packaging helps protect it from light exposure, preserving its freshness, aroma, and quality for longer while ensuring optimal storage conditions.

How is Scandalusia best enjoyed? +

Scandalusia is at its best when used to enhance simple, high-quality ingredients.

Drizzle it over fresh salads, burrata, tomatoes, roasted vegetables, potatoes, eggs, grilled fish, or artisan bread. Its balanced character makes it equally suitable for everyday meals and special occasions.

A simple finishing touch that brings depth, freshness, and flavour to every dish.

How should I store olive oil? +

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and light. While the tin helps protect the oil, proper storage ensures its freshness, aroma, and character are preserved over time.

What makes Scandalusia different from other olive oils? +

Our oils are single-estate, early harvested, cold extracted, and produced in limited batches. By controlling every step of production on our family-owned estate, we preserve the freshness, balance, and natural expression of the olive.

What does “early harvest” mean? +

Early harvest means the olives are picked before full ripeness. This helps preserve freshness, intensity, and naturally high levels of polyphenols, resulting in a more vibrant and structured extra virgin olive oil.

What are polyphenols? +

Polyphenols are natural compounds found in olives that contribute to the oil’s stability, sensory profile, and overall quality. They are one of the key indicators of premium extra virgin olive oil.
